The Divorce Process
Life changes in different ways, when a marriage is ending, the process of divorce does not have to be difficult or drawn out. Whether you are thinking of starting the process or have already, we are here to ensure that you are legally and emotionally prepared throughout the entire process. We meet you where you are and walk alongside you to make the process as simple as possible. This includes preparation of your Petition for Divorce and supporting documents.
The Children
When a marriage breaks down, there are several issues that may arise in relation to the children. Parents may find it difficult to agree on arrangements that are fair for both parties. We can advise on the legal requirements for documents, your parental rights and afford solutions to create a fair arrangement that benefits the child/children.

Tami Wei Lung Chung is an Attorney-at-Law in Trinidad and Tobago. She was called to the bar in 2017 having completed the Legal Education Programme at the Hugh Wooding Law School and was the head of her private practice for three (3) years before founding Simply Law Attorneys-at-Law.
With areas of expertise in Family Law and Civil Litigation, Tami has successfully represented clients in the Family Court and High Court of Trinidad and Tobago and has other areas of experience in Probate and Conveyancing. She is the holder of a Certificate in Business Administration from the Anglia Ruskin University and a Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management.
Tami is currently the volunteer Legal Counsel with the Caribbean Cancer Research Initiative, Legal Counsel affiliated with Advisors Next Door and is actively involved with non-profit organisations such as Women.Everywhere as the co-ordinator for International Women’s Week.
